Why should you choose Invisalign?

Discreet Appearance

Invisalign aligners are crafted from transparent plastic, making them an ideal choice for individuals seeking to straighten their teeth discreetly.

Increased comfort

Unlike the metal wires in traditional braces that can frequently lead to discomfort, Invisalign consists of soft, flexible plastic aligners crafted to minimize irritation.

Improved Oral Hygiene

The detachable aligners facilitate maintaining a healthy smile, as they lack the wires or metal brackets that can interfere with regular brushing and flossing routines.

Fewer Dietary Restrictions

Furthermore, patients with braces often have to avoid certain foods they once relished to prevent damage to their wires or brackets. In contrast, Invisalign aligners are detachable, letting you remove them during meals and continue enjoying your regular diet throughout the treatment.

How exactly does Invisalign work?

In West Edmonton, over the course of your treatment, you will receive a series of clear aligners. Each aligner is designed to make subtle adjustments to your teeth’s position, a plan meticulously mapped out by our doctors for your unique treatment needs. It’s essential to wear each set of aligners for 22 hours daily, and roughly every two weeks, you’ll transition to the next set in the series. These aligners will progressively straighten your teeth until you complete your treatment plan.

Your Treatment Plan In 3 Easy Steps

Your Free Invisalign Consultation

During your FREE initial consultation at our West Edmonton location, one of our dentists will meet with you to understand your requirements and determine if Invisalign fits you.

Furthermore, we utilize the iTero® digital scanning system to produce an accurate 3D digital representation of your smile. This technology enables our dentists in West Edmonton to provide a preview of your post-Invisalign smile! Following this, we’ll devise a detailed plan outlining the precise movements of your teeth and the duration of your treatment.

Your Invisalign Aligners

In West Edmonton, our tailor-made Invisalign aligners are designed to be nearly undetectable, ensuring that most individuals won’t realize you’re on your journey to a straighter smile. Additionally, for optimal results, it’s crucial to wear your Invisalign trays for 22 hours daily!

Your Brand New Smile

As you wear your Invisalign aligners, your teeth will subtly and steadily move to their desired positions. This means that with each phase of your treatment, you can witness your progress and envision the potential of your transformed smile!

Also Available for Teens and Children!

Not only do we offer Invisalign for Adults, but we also cater to Children and Teenagers with Invisalign solutions! Additionally, we provide Invisalign Teen, which varies from the standard Invisalign treatments in several distinct aspects such as:

Coloured Compliance tabs

Invisalign Teen comes with an indicator on every aligner that gradually fades after two weeks of usage. This feature aids us in assessing if the teeth have moved as intended and are set for subsequent phases. Additionally, it serves as a reminder for patients to ensure they wear the aligner for the recommended 22 hours daily!

Replacing Lost Invisalign Aligners

We know that mistakes can happen! Invisalign Teen comes with 6 complimentary  replacement aligners, instead of the normal 2 aligners provided with regular Invisalign treatment. just in case your child misplaces their trays!

Young Children, New Teeth Eruption Tabs

Not to mention, many teens still have permanent teeth emerging from beneath the gum line. This is why there is additional space left in the aligners to make room for any adult teeth which need to erupt!

Questions about Invisalign?

Over the last 11 years, we’ve helped thousands of patients smile with confidence.

For the majority of people, the answer is Yes. However, Invisalign is not a turnkey solution in that your dentist’s input into the design of the aligners can have drastic impacts to your results. As well, Invisalign must be worn a minimum of 22 hours a day to see the movements necessary.

The Invisalign® system uses a series of clear, removable aligners.  As you change to each new set of aligners in your series, your teeth gradually move until they reach the desired position. This process can take months to complete.

Misaligned teeth can lead to airway issues, premature wear, tooth loss, and periodontal (gum) disease.  Properly aligned teeth reduce the risk of tooth chipping, breaking, and wear, which could cause pain and lead to expensive procedures in the future to save your teeth.  Proper alignment also reduces stress on the jawbone and TMJ.

Yes! We offer flexible financing options such as 0% financing and extended payment plans. We will work with you to create the perfect payment plan.

The Canadian Dental Association recommends every child have an orthodontic assessment no later than age 7. That’s because not all orthodontic problems can be treated if we were to wait for all adult teeth to be present. Waiting on treatment can lead to a less than ideal result.

In an orthodontic consultation, you will get an opportunity to tour the office, meet the doctor and the team. The doctor will look at your mouth and assess the complexity of your treatment and review what treatment options are available to you. Together, we will discuss any concerns you may have with your orthodontic treatment.

Do you have any more questions about your oral health? We’re here to give you a hand. Don’t hesitate to contact our office or book your appointment below to meet with one of our family dentists in Edmonton.

Our office follows the Alberta Dental Fee Guide. We’ve created the following chart which highlights the most common prices for dental treatment in Edmonton. We want to ensure that we are completely transparent and open about how much we charge for each of the treatment options available at our office.

It really depends on each patient! Typically we recommend that adult patients visit a dentist once or twice a year, even if your mouth is in good condition. This way, you can get your teeth professionally cleaned regularly and maintain excellent oral health.

The most common concerns patients see us for are toothaches — that’s because pain is a way for your body to tell you that something isn’t right. Under the surface, there could be a lot going on. You could be dealing with a variety of dental issues such as decay, gum disease, cracked or worn teeth, or an abscess. We also often help those who have lost or broken a tooth. Before you start overthinking your dental emergency, book your next dental appointment with one of our family dentists today!

If you’re feeling uncomfortable, you should always visit a dentist. Even if the pain does go away after a few days, it’s likely there’s an issue hidden under the surface that should be checked by a dental professional so that it doesn’t linger and continue getting worse.

The Canadian Dental Association recommends the assessment of infants, by a dentist, within 6 months of the eruption of the first tooth or by one year of age. This helps one of our family-friendly dentists catch potential problems that can affect your child’s overall health and well-being as more teeth grow in overtime.

Yes, we do! If you’re looking for a new, family-friendly dentist in West Edmonton, please don’t hesitate to book your appointment today! We would be more than happy to help guide you on the right treatment solution for your oral health needs.

We’re ready to help answer any additional questions you may have. Please don’t hesitate to contact our office today!
