Dr. Waseem Hussain

My name is Waseem W. Hussain. I am a dentist practicing @ Glenwood Dental Care. I am happy to be part of the rest of the team at our lovely clinic.  

I am a general dentist who has been in private practice since graduating Dental School in 2008. I practice General Family Dentistry & Emergency Dentistry. I enjoy all aspects of General Dentistry from Diagnostic, Preventative (including treating TMJ/TMD/MVA’s & Nightguards), Restorative including Children’s Dentistry, Adult Clear Aligners Orthodontics (Invisalign®️)& Crown & Bridge Dentistry – including Implants Supported Dental Crowns. 

My clinical approach in dentistry focuses on prevention of disease inclduing prevention of pain with local anesthesia & treating (eradicating) the etiology of diease (causation of disease). 

My Curriculum Vitae: in 2004 I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Western University in London, Ontario. 

Following that, I attended University of Saskatchewan in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan where I graduated from College of Dentistry in 2008 with a Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree. 

In my clinical approach I love to focus on patient education, positivity and empowerment thru visual means of show & tell to help my patients understand their current oral health status – & help them understand what they need to do to get to healthy oral health status with regular check-up & dental cleanings maintenance. 

I focus on providing comprehensive treatment planning with preventative hygiene based approach with our Registered Dental Hygienists. 

I like to focus on my clinical work with dedication to community service. 

When I am not practicing dentistry I enjoy spending time with my family (wife & three children). I love going with them to Edmonton River Valley & Ravine Trails walks, mini golf, outdoor summer pool, watching them ice skating, playing basketball, soccer & pickleball with them. On my own time I like reading, biking & trying not to follow up on daily news
