What services do we offer at Glenwood Dental Care?

At Glenwood Dental Care in Glenora, we offer various services to meet our patient’s needs. Our team is dedicated to providing high-quality and compassionate care to ensure each patient’s comfort and satisfaction.

We provide preventative dentistry services such as dental checkups, children’s dentistry, oral cancer screenings, and tooth extractions. During a dental checkup, we will look for any signs of decay or damage to teeth, gums, and the mouth’s soft tissues. We also perform an oral cancer screening to detect any signs of tumour growth or other abnormalities that may indicate cancerous cells. Tooth extractions may be necessary when a tooth has been severely damaged or infected and cannot be saved with other treatments. These screenings are essential for maintaining good oral health and help catch potential problems early on.

In addition to preventative dentistry services, we offer restorative procedures such as bridges, crowns, implants, porcelain veneers, Invisalign treatment and teeth whitening options. A bridge is used when one or more teeth are missing to replace them with prosthetic teeth held in place by two abutment crowns on either side of the gap in your smile line. Crowns are artificial replacements for missing parts of a tooth above the gum line, while implants replace root structures below the gum line. Porcelain veneers are thin shells that conceal minor imperfections in your teeth, like chips or discoloration; they fit snugly over existing natural enamel without altering its shape too much. Invisalign aligners are made from clear plastic material and help straighten crooked teeth over time without requiring metal braces.

At Glenwood Dental Care, we also offer professional whitening options so you can get back the gleam you deserve!

On top of all these services, we also offer laughing gas for our patients who feel anxious about their visit – it helps ease any stress and encourages relaxation throughout treatment. If there is an emergency, our team is always ready and willing to provide emergency dentistry as soon as possible – this includes repair for chips or broken teeth and root canal therapy if necessary!

Once all necessary paperwork is completed, a general dentist or hygienist will meet with you for a complete oral exam. This exam includes a thorough examination of the entire mouth, including teeth, gums, tongue and other associated structures, to detect any problems such as cavities, plaque buildup or signs of infection. During this appointment, we also check each tooth’s overall integrity and evaluate whether any structural issues need attention, such as alignment irregularities or jaw misalignment.
